AKA claims that his merchandise is better Kanye West’s clothes at his pop-up store in Cape Town.
As if Kanye West didn’t have enough problems after Kid Cudi’s rant against him this week, the US rap star has been called out by local rapper AKA.
AKA followed in the footsteps of his US counterpart this week by opening a pop-up merchandise store in Cape Town, the only difference is that AKA claims that his merchandise is better.
Taking to Twitter as the doors of his store opened on Thursday, AKA shaded the quality of Kanye West’s merchandise being sold at his Cape Town pop-up store, claiming that it was made from “rubbish wholesale T-shirts”.
Our MERCH quality is better than the Cape Town PABLO MERCH …. They printed over rubbish wholesale T shirts. Ask anyone who copped there.

Kanye West shut down Cape Town several weeks ago when he launched a pop-up store for his Saint Pablo tour merchandise in the city.
AKA made sure he showed off the quality of his merchandise, displaying branded t-shirts and long sleeve shirts ahead of his Supa Mega Show in Cape Town this weekend.
We’re not sure that AKA’s criticism of Kanye’s merchanise will ever reach Kanye’s ears, especially after the US rapper this week revealed that he has ditched his cellphone to focus on his music, but we’ll be sure to look out for a response.
